Location

With your Android permission, the app uses approximate or precise location to sort nearby stations and calculate distances on your device. It does not store movement history or request background location permission. Favorites and station search work without location.

While viewing station discovery, search or maps in the car, a foreground location service may continue with the phone screen hidden. Android shows it in notifications or its active-app controls. It stops when app screens no longer need it; an independently visible phone screen may retain its own location access.

GPS coordinates are not sent to Golemio. Requested station identifiers can nevertheless reveal the area you are viewing. Map tiles can also reveal an area: centering a map on your location may allow the map provider to infer where you approximately are.

Transit data and maps

• Golemio / Operátor ICT: board requests include stop identifiers, departure or arrival mode, the time window and your API token. The token may contain your Golemio account email and identifier. The app does not read or display those fields, but sends the entire token to the provider. Ordinary HTTPS requests also expose your IP address. Golemio terms.
• PID: the public station catalog is downloaded without API keys. Its server receives ordinary network information including your IP address. Name searches and catalog filtering happen on your device. PID open data.
• OpenFreeMap / Hyperknot Software Kft.: the default map needs no key. OpenFreeMap and its CDN receive your IP address and requested map resources, which identify the viewed area. The provider also uses Cloudflare. OpenFreeMap privacy policy.
• Mapy.com / Seznam.cz: when you select this map, the provider receives your IP address, requested tiles, style, language and the app's public key or your optional own key. Tiles identify the viewed area. Your Golemio token is not sent to map providers. If Mapy.com is unavailable, the app may switch to OpenFreeMap. Mapy.com terms, including personal data.

You can leave the map closed. pidivlaky does not run a developer server for boards or synchronization. External services retain operational records under their own policies; the app developer does not determine their retention periods.

Navigation, Android Auto and website links

The app checks compatible installed map and navigation apps locally. It does not transmit that list. Opening a map or navigation passes the destination station's coordinates, and sometimes its name, to the selected app. In the car, screen contents and displayed station coordinates are passed to the system host, which supplies the map and navigation selection.

Opening the PID map, a Správa železnic board or another supported link passes the complete URL to your browser, including its station, map view and filters. Saving or receiving a shared link does not itself load the website. Your browser, destination website, navigation app and Android services have their own privacy practices.

Storage and retention

Favorites, journeys, filters, links, language, appearance and other preferences remain on your device until you change or remove them. Entered API keys are encrypted using Android Keystore. The default Mapy.com key is a public part of the app. App network requests use HTTPS. Automatic backup and transfer of app data to another device are disabled.

Loaded boards and the latest location are held temporarily in memory, without a history stored on disk. The public catalog is stored and replaced by updates. OpenFreeMap uses a local HTTP cache of up to 32 MiB under the provider's response-expiry rules. Mapy.com tiles are not stored persistently. The app does not download offline map packs.

Diagnostics and contacting support

The connection report in Settings contains the app version, times and aggregate counts of requests, HTTP responses and errors. It exists only in memory and resets when the process ends. It contains no API keys, location, stations, request URLs or response contents. Nothing is uploaded automatically. Copy places the report on the Android clipboard; further sharing is your choice.

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and message. These are used to handle your request and retained for as long as needed to resolve it. You may request deletion through the contact address. Please do not send API keys.

Your choices and deletion

• Revoke location permission in Android settings.
• Remove the Golemio token in app Settings. For an own Mapy.com key, Use default key restores the app's public key. To stop Mapy.com requests, select OpenFreeMap or close the map.
• Remove favorites, journeys and saved links in the app. Deleting a journey keeps its links available to all journeys; you can delete the links separately.
• Delete all local app data by clearing app storage in Android or uninstalling. The cache can be cleared separately. A fresh installation may include the default stations again.

Removing a token does not close your provider account, revoke its key or delete its records. Contact the provider for those actions. There is no separate pidivlaky account.

This website

Cloudflare hosts this website. When you visit, it processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information and requested pages to deliver and secure the site. The site uses no advertising or analytics tools and sets no application cookies or local storage. Cloudflare's privacy policy describes its processing.
